The Week That Was

Wednesday: 0.75hr. run (zone 2/zone 3)
Saturday: 0.33hr. spin (zone 1/zone 2)
Sunday: 1.0hr. run (zone 1/zone 2)

Had to give my back muscles recovery time. Weights, kayaking, and running had added up.

Sunday was the Stride Against Cancer (article here). It's always a great event - over 2% of the island partipates!

Tuesday: upper body (+ minor legs) weights
Wednesday: 0.7hr. run (zone 2/zone 3, some zone 4)
Friday: upper body (+ minor legs) weights
Saturday: 0.5hr. treadmill run (zone 2)

Volunteered on Sunday at the inaugural Mercuryman Half Iron Distance Triathlon and Aquabike, setting up for the event and providing kayak support for the swim. Congratulations to the participants, and thanks to the other volunteers, the sponsors, and the organizers for adding a great event to the Cayman roster.

Made it through holiday travels without notable setback in body composition, but two week layoff has fitness consequences. Still seems an acceptable set of choices.
