It was an amazing swim! I love the descriptions of the sharks being hacked up with machetes (and frankly though I am on preservationist angle I think this was a very sensible way to handle this situation); and how amazing that she was actually able to walk up out of the sea on her own two feet. What a swim, what a swimmer!
(Brent, did you hear Jeff telling me at dinner on Saturday that marathon swimmer Diana Nyad was his college classmate and sometime squash partner?!?)
