That concept is used heavily by the WKO+ software at Training Peaks. They call it Training Stress Score (TSS). But to use it effectively like Andy, you need to continually wear your HRM, ride with a power meter and quite a bit of other "magickery". ;^)
I can understand it at that level. At mine, it would be akin to buying the Maserati to drive four miles to work.
I've never thought that training was a one size fits all thing and it's good to see someone else doing things completely different. Thanks for the link!
