The Week That Was
Saturday: 1.75hr. treadmill run (zone 2)
Get up and go got up and went.
I've had no pressing goal for Florida 70.3, and it seems my interest level in training for the event is cratering (whereas Jenny has to talk herself into rest days). On the plus side, I'm pretty much as keen as ever on going to DisneyWorld!

Perhaps saving yourself for the grueling post-race Disney tri ;-)
Oops, that was me logged in as my Endurance Sports Bar account.
Oh dear, this post made me laugh! I am going to try and fit some sort of funny proverb into as many forthcoming Triaspirational posts as possible... It is my opinion, though, that if you were only going to do one workout per week to prepare, a more-or-less two-hour run is pretty much the one to do!
And if Disney World doesn't sound good - it looks like from the comments you can go to the Azores. :)
TPT!!! (Theme Park Tri!)
I am going to miss Florida 70.3 this year. I want to do it, but I just don't have the cash to do it this year. Good luck!
so glad your interest in Disney World is still strong :)
I can sort of relate to that. With a half-IM being my longest race, this year, I have to focus on getting distances up there. I'm working on speed for my marathon, and struggling to keep my swim distance where it should be.
I have to get my attitude straight before attempting another Ironman.
