Peeps!
Got through the travels on September 5th OK. Only real issue was my checked bag going astray at O'Hare (presumably was put on wrong carousel and then moved to the Herd of Confused Luggage by the time I sought assistance) - increased total time to collect baggage at O'Hare, but only to one hour.
Did the swim this morning at the event site. Rash guard top under wetsuit worked well. Combined with a bit of chop from wind my stroke had me pulling overly much to the right - must monitor, double (or single) breathing to left side would help compensate.
As planned, met with Bold and Stu at the swim site; swam with them. Here we are at registration:

Note that I was wearing my Cayman Islands Turtle Tri shirt - come for the race, stay for the vacation!
Ahead of us in the registration line, Stu spotted other peeps. He dashed up to say hello; I followed; Bold kept place. After greetings and short conversations Stu rejoined Bold and I hung back for a quick photo-op:

After registration I also met TriDummy - so a highly bloggy morning!

Bolder and Stu must be some very tall fellows. Also, Greyhound looks like he has his game face on. It is good to see that you are still smiling.
How fun to have so many blogger friends at the race with you. Glad you've got your laptop with you too!
