Making Do
The pool at the condo complex is out-of-service, and has been for weeks. :-(
Much work is in progress:
On the plus side, when all is done the elevated circular tub section (also visible at right above, with the deep blue band) will be heated:
In the meanwhile, if I want to do stroke work outside of Masters sessions I could use the pool in the courtyard at the office:
Tragically, they don't even fill, let alone heat, the jacuzzi at work:
Ah well, at least they do keep up the landscaping:
And the waterfall is a nice touch:
Explanatory Note: I work in leased space in an office building that was converted from being a hotel.

How do you get any work done?
What a poor forlorn little jacuzzi ...
who needs a pool when the ocean is 100 y further out??
What trijack said. That place is way to nice to be working, I'd spend most of my time wandering around.
Oh dear, that is comical! You have a weirdly large number of empty swimming pools!
No fair that your workplace looks like my idea of a vacation! :(
Your pool is the one with waves and a beach. You are a lucky, lucky man.
Tell them to fix that hot tub, I am comming down.
Still pretty! And there's always the ocean! Right?
The Eagles wrote about having problems like yours in Life's Been Good. Note the verse toward the end:
It's tough to handle
This fortune and fame
Everybody's so different
I haven't changed
wow - looking at those pictures broke my heart - all the palm trees, sun, blue sky.
Hang in there, buddy. You can tough it out.
As I scrolled down, I kept waiting for the shot of the hawties sitting poolside watching you get ready to do lap after lap...I can now see how that whole situation really sucks for you.
Looks like paradise
I lived on a tropical island in the Pacific and I understand your sarcasism in this post. Its like Paradise Lost. Its so beautiful but sometimes you just want to run away.
Reminds me of my first job...only because it's the polar opposite. Sewing factory in the middle of summer, no air conditioning, the very definition of a sweat shop. Still managed to have a lot of fun, though.
Ah yes. Swimming in a pool outdoors. It sure is great!
Here I thought we were fancy because my boss has a mini bar and we've been known to have a cocktail at closing bell... you'll see my minibar and raise me a jacuzzi! :)
Can't comment...busy gnashing my teeth.
How to you manage to live in such deplorable conditions? What a pity. ;-)
I ditto BigUn. Where are the Hawties?
nice.
it's definitely beautiful there.
