Always distressing. Glad it wasn't more tragic.
Bummer! That's why I ride on the sidewalk! I'm afraid of those drivers when I'm in my car, much less on my bike!
We've had a couple of bad ones here of late.
Uggh! I thought that was curious that the biker's medical bills were listed and that the car driver seemed to have no liability.
Tri-mama, I suspect that the driver has not been identified beyond "female driver of a red car" - hence the present state of the medical tab.
Presumably Bill Sullivan is stuck paying the deductible - it is mandatory here for employers to pay for health insurance plans for employees, but plan details vary.
